I am who I am, who I am, who am I
Requesting some enlightenment,
Could I have been anyone other than me?

-Dave Matthews Band, Dancing Nancies

Who am I? Well I'm originally from the Chicagoland Area, born in Arlington Heights in July of '75 and grew up in many a Chicago suburb; including Bolingbrook, DeKalb, Aurora, Elmhurst, and Des Plaines. While living in these various spots, I completed my education at Waubonsie Valley High School and Elmhurst College where I got my B.S. in Computer Science.

For the past few years I've been living in the San Francisco Bay Area, first in San Francisco proper, then in Oakland with some friends and now in Richmond with my girlfriend Katie.

As with many other people, I've had to hold down a few jobs to make a living on my own. I won't bore you with the details; I'll leave that to my resume. Needless to say most of my work revolves around the computer industry for which, I'm currently working as a consultant. Some of that work has included writing and presenting on various computing topics and some other part of the work has been contributing some free time to a few projects.

But what about my all-important free time? Well lately, I spend my time between California and Illinois. I spent many a free moment at various baseball parks watching many a team play. Usually if the White Sox are play ball you can bet I'm there. When in Chicago I use to hanging out at the old Chicago Stadium and the new United Center watching the Bulls and the Blackhawks.

I've also enjoyed my time at the Museum of Science and Industry, The Art Institute of Chicago, and Adler Planetarium. Most often I engage in these hobbies/activates with my friends and family.

While bumming in the Bay Area, I can sometimes be found chatting with friends at Caffe Proust or Johnny Foley's Irish House. Or I may take in a baseball game at Pac Bell Park or Oakland Coliseum. Then again I might be taking in an exhibit at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

In addition to the above, my time is occupied by other diverse sources of personal intrigue; namely Art, Astronomy, Astrophysics, Computers, United States History, Political Science, Theater Literature mixed with a bit of traveling. Therefore, a good amount of my time is spent reading, watching TV or otherwise surfing the web on those topics.

Of course there are my friends for without whom my time invested in any of my own interested would be nothing but dull and boring.

Really, the best way to find out about who I am as a person is to check this whole site and by all means feel free to drop me a line, if you wish.

Enjoy the site.
