What is CASE?
- CASE - Computer-Aided Software Engineering - Tools help reduce or in some cases eliminate many of the design and development problems inherent in medium to large projects.
- CASE Tools allow the designer(s) to focus on the architecture rather than the code.
- The ultimate goal of CASE is to separate design from implementation. The more detach the two, the better.
- The software engineering steps help set a framework to work from.
- This "stuctured methodology" allows individuals to work independently to construct their respective assignments.
