What is CASE?
- CASE Tools are a direct evolution of early "paper & pen" based methodologies.
- Thus in CASE, these methodologies are being implemented as software programs themselves, instead of relying on individuals to practice the software development process "in theory."
- In formal terms, CASE Tools provide leverage in the software requirements analysis, and design specifications phases, as well as those tools which generate code automatically from the software design specifiction.
