Nothing drives me crazy more than watching Battlestar Galatica or Dr. Who &#8211; which given its BBC origin isn&#8217;t even filmed for commercial breaks &#8211; to be force to watch the 100th ad in the last hour for the monster movie of the week staring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kevinsorbo.net\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kevin Sorbo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In these tough conditions one has to keep their wits about them and find any value &#8211; entertainment or otherwise &#8211; whenever possible. Luckily for me, I&#8217;m not the only one who finds the Sci FI network&#8217;s commercial breaks so grating. My two partners in crime, my wife Katie and my best friend Brandon have teamed up to create the Sci Fi Poem Project featuring haikus and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madlibs.com\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">other stylings<\/a> using the titles from various monster of the week movies.<\/p>\n<p>Without further ado, I give you the first &#8211; of maybe a series:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>A lone &#8220;Dragon Fighter&#8221;, From a &#8220;Dragon Dynasty&#8221; with his &#8220;Dragon Sword&#8221; in a &#8220;Dragon Storm&#8221; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong><\/strong> Or <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> This &#8220;Man-thing&#8221; leader of &#8220;Interceptor Force&#8221; shall &#8220;Encrypt&#8221; this &#8220;abominable&#8221;  &#8220;absolon&#8221; &#8220;Aztec Rex&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong><\/strong> Or this variation <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong> &#8220;They Are Among Us&#8221;<br \/>\nthis &#8220;Deadly Swarm&#8221; of &#8220;Man with the Screaming Brain&#8221;<br \/>\nShouting &#8220;Do or Die&#8221;at thy &#8220;Fire Serpant&#8221;, &#8220;Infected&#8221; with &#8220;Harpies&#8221;<br \/>\nThese &#8220;Fallen Ones&#8221; believed the &#8220;Sabertooth&#8221; from &#8220;Beyond Loch Ness&#8221;<br \/>\nSoon after battle, &#8220;Pumpkin head vs. Demonic Toys&#8221; in which this &#8220;Savage Planet&#8221; was changed<br \/>\nA new &#8220;Epoch Evolution&#8221; begun as &#8220;Skeleton Man&#8221; and &#8220;Painkiller Jane&#8221; begat &#8220;SS DoomTrooper&#8221;<br \/>\nThis &#8220;Headless Horseman&#8221; on &#8220;Raptor Island&#8221; in peace, no more the &#8220;Pumpkinhead: Blood Fued&#8221; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now you know you want to<br \/>\n<script src=\"http:\/\/w.sharethis.com\/widget\/?%20tabs=web%2Cemail&amp;charset=utf-%208&amp;services=facebook%2Cdigg%2Cdelicious%2Cstumbleupon%20%2Ctechnorati%2Creddit%2Cpropeller%2Cwindows_live%2Cyahoo_%20myweb%2Cgoogle_bmarks%2Cblinklist%2Cnewsvine&amp;style=r%20otate&amp;publisher=23441421-9d3a-4d4c-8746-%20a097a0f4b702\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have this love\/hate relationship with the Sci Fi channel, I love to hate their commercials.
